This program will cover important issues relating to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) response. Emphasis will be placed upon the following topics. Chemical agents, radiological agents, Biological agents, and others.
Upon completion of this program the student will be issued a Certificate of Completion from the United States Department of Homeland Security. Also, students who complete this program are eligible to complete the Department's H.O.T. (Hands On Training) Course at the Center in Anniston, Alabama.
The US DOJ suggests anyone who may be involved, in anyway with a WMD event attend this training. This includes, police, fire personnel, EMS, hospital staff, dispatchers, and others.
